While Genoa Central's win against Prescott wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Genoa Central Dragons narrowly escaped with a victory as the squad sidled past the Prescott Curley Wolves 5-3. The Dragons haven't had any issues with the Curley Wolves recently, as the game was their fourth consecutive win against them.

The victory got Genoa Central back to even at 2-2. As for Prescott, they are on a four-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-3.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Genoa Central will head out to take on El Dorado at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. The last three games El Dorado has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one. As for Prescott, they will venture away from home to square off against Horatio at 5:00 p.m. on Monday. Prescott is facing Horatio at the right time seeing as Horatio is stuck on a three-game losing streak.
