The White Plains Wildcats extended their postseason success on Wednesday against the Jacksonville Golden Eagles. They managed a 59-54 victory over the Golden Eagles. The win was all the more spectacular given White Plains' disadvantage in MaxPreps' Alabama basketball rankings (they are ranked 126th, while Jacksonville is ranked 50th).
Despite the loss, Jacksonville still got an impressive performance from Devin Barksdale, who scored 32 points along with seven rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Barksdale has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of KyDric Fisher, who scored six points along with four steals.
White Plains has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won seven of their last eight games, which provided a nice bump to their 23-9 record this season. As for Jacksonville, their loss dropped their record down to 24-8.
White Plains does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Jacksonville also has no future games currently scheduled.
