The Philadelphia Military Academy Knights's road trip will continue as they head out to face the Motivation Jaguars at 3:15 p.m. on January 18th. Both teams took a loss in their last game, so they'll have plenty of motivation to get the 'W'.
It's never fun to lose, and it's even less fun to lose 66-29, which was the final score in Philadelphia Military Academy's tilt against Parkway Center City on Friday.
Meanwhile, Motivation's recent rough patch got a bit rougher on Thursday after their fourth straight loss. The match between Motivation and TECH Freire Charter wasn't particularly close, with Motivation falling 69-54. While losing is never fun, Motivation can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Pennsylvania basketball rankings (they are ranked 491st, while TECH Freire Charter is ranked 203rd).
Despite the defeat, Motivation saw an underclassman step up: Chace White scored 19 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points White has scored all season. Amare Gadson was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Philadelphia Military Academy bumped their record down to 1-4 with that loss, which was their fourth straight on the road. As for Motivation, they now have a losing record at 4-5.
Philadelphia Military Academy strolled past Motivation in their previous matchup back in January of 2022 by a score of 75-61. Does Philadelphia Military Academy have another victory up their sleeve, or will Motivation turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
