St. Thomas Episcopal was not able to break out of their rough patch on Friday as the team picked up their eighth straight defeat dating back to last season. They were two points away from ending the streak, but they lost a 47-45 heartbreaker at the hands of the Northland Christian Cougars. One positive for the Saints, at least, is that this was the most points they've scored all season.

Northland Christian was led to victory by Sasha Simon and Savannah Hardwick. Simon posted 22 points in addition to eight boards and four steals, while Hardwick earned 16 points along with six assists and four steals. That's the most assists Hardwick has posted since back in February of 2024. Sami Hearn was another key player, putting up five points and 12 rebounds.

St. Thomas Episcopal's loss dropped their record down to 0-4. As for Northland Christian, with the victory, they broke their three-game losing streak and moved their record to 6-13.
