Those four hits gave her a new career-high.
In other pitching news, Kaitlyn Hare looked comfortable as she tossed two innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits. She has been nothing but reliable on the mound: she hasn't given up a single earned run in three consecutive appearances.

Mohawk Area kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 20 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least eight hits in seven consecutive games.
Meanwhile, after soaring to 11 runs the game before, Avonworth was a bit more limited in their matchup on Wednesday. They came up short against Ellwood City, falling 11-2. The contest marked the Antelopes' lowest-scoring game so far this season.
Mohawk Area's victory was their fifth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 10-3. The home wins came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Avonworth, they have been struggling recently as they've lost three of their last four matches. That's put a noticeable dent in their 7-5 record this season.
Mohawk Area took their victory against Avonworth in their previous matchup two weeks ago by a conclusive 16-6 score. Do the Warriors have another victory up their sleeve, or will the Antelopes turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
