Skowhegan ended up a good deal behind Lawrence when they played on Friday, losing 26-44. The defeat was a vexing one since Skowhegan were expected to win based on their state ranking. The match brought Lawrence to 3-4 and dropped Skowhegan to a mirror-image 4-3.
Both teams are staying within the conference for their upcoming matches. Skowhegan will be playing at home against Mt. Blue at at 7:00 PM next week. As for Lawrence, they will face off against Messalonskee. Messalonskee are limping into the contest on a seven-game losing streak.
