It may have taken eight innings to finish the job, but Malcolm ultimately got the result they hoped for on Tuesday. They skirted past the Beatrice Orangemen 4-3. Winning may never get old, but the Clippers sure are getting used to it with their 14th in a row.

Malcolm saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Logan Mcgreer, who went 2-for-4 with one stolen base and one double.

Malcolm pushed their record up to 17-1 with the win, which was their fifth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 2.0 runs on average over those games. As for Beatrice, their loss dropped their record down to 8-8.

Both teams will have to hit the road in their upcoming games. Malcolm will challenge Arlington at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. The Clippers are facing the Eagles at the right time seeing as the Eagles are stuck on a four-game losing streak. As for Beatrice, they will take on Wahoo/Bishop Neumann at 4:03 p.m. on Thursday.
