On Thursday, Riverside was beaten by Elkhorn Valley 50-20. Riverside has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
Mavrick Hagemann went supernova for Elkhorn Valley, rushing for 217 yards and four touchdowns while picking up 8.7 yards per carry. Elkhorn Valley also got help from Dawson Hansen who showed off his sure hands for 123 receiving yards.
Riverside's defeat dropped their record down to 5-4. As for Elkhorn Valley, their victory was their fifth straight at home, bumping their overall record up to 7-2.
Riverside does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Elkhorn Valley will head out on the road to face off against Plainview at 7:00 p.m. on October 27th. Plainview is currently enjoying a perfect season and no doubt want to keep things rolling.
