In what's become a running theme this season, Glen Ridge gave their fans yet another huge win on Wednesday. They were the clear victor by a 49-25 margin over East Orange Campus. Given Glen Ridge's advantage in MaxPreps' New Jersey basketball rankings (they are ranked 65th, while East Orange Campus is ranked 327th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Meanwhile, winning is just a little bit easier when your three-point shooting is a whole 21% better than the opposition, a fact Lansdale Catholic proved on Thursday. They enjoyed a cozy 55-41 win over Conwell-Egan Catholic.
Lansdale Catholic's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Grace Mcdonough led the charge by dropping a double-double on 22 points and 17 rebounds. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Mcdonough has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Olivia Boccella, who scored 18 points along with three steals.
Glen Ridge's victory bumped their record up to 8-1. As for Lansdale Catholic, their win bumped their record up to 10-0.
