Hancock are taking a road trip to face off against Lindblom at 4:30 p.m. on Friday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Hancock can't be too worried about heading out to take on Lindblom: they just beat Agricultural Science at home, who had been dominant on their own field up to that point. The Eagles' pitcher stepped up to hand the Cyclones a 17-0 shutout on Wednesday. The victory continues a trend for the Eagles in their matchups with the Cyclones: they've now won three in a row.

Ryan Ostrowski made a big impact no matter where he played. He struck out seven batters over three innings while giving up no earned runs off two hits (and only one walk). He has been consistent: he hasn't given up more than two hits in five consecutive appearances. He was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all four of his plate appearances with one home run, four runs, and two stolen bases. That's the most runs he has posted since back in April of 2025.
In other batting news, Emiliano Leon was incredible, going 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one stolen base. That's the most RBI he has posted since back in April of 2025. Robert Morales was another key player, getting on base in all three of his plate appearances with two runs, two RBI, and one double.
Hancock always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .742. They are a perfect 4-0 when they post an OBP of .513 or better.
Meanwhile, winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Lindblom). Everything went their way against Hubbard on Wednesday as they made off with a 22-4 win. While the Eagles didn't have the best season last year (they finished 1-19-1), it's starting to look like those struggles are a thing of the past.
The team relied heavily on Andres Aguirre, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with six stolen bases, five runs, and three doubles. With that strong performance, he is now averaging an impressive 2.1 runs per game. Patrick Greenlee also deserves some recognition as he brought in his first RBI of the season.
Hancock picked up their first road victory, bumping their record up to 6-8-1. As for Lindblom, their record now sits at 8-3-1.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. Hancock has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 7.3 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Lindblom struggles in that department as they've been averaging an even more impressive 8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
