Conway faced Little Rock Christian Academy in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Friday. The Wampus Cats blew past the Warriors 55-17. Considering the Wampus Cats have won seven matchups by more than 22 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.

Conway pushed their record up to 8-1 with the win, which was their fourth straight on the road. The road victories came thanks in part to their defensive effort, having only surrendered 7.8 points on average over those games. As for Little Rock Christian Academy, their defeat ended a five-game streak of wins at home dating back to last season and dropped them to 6-3.
