The Holy Name Green Wave scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Wednesday. They blew past Garrett Morgan, posting a 77-46 victory at home. Considering Holy Name has won five games by more than 27 points this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.
Holy Name found their leader in underclassman Claire Coljohn, who dropped a double-double on 23 points and 14 rebounds. Those 14 rebounds set a new season-high mark for her. Maryelise Rispoli was another key contributor, scoring 13 points along with six rebounds.
Holy Name has been performing well recently as they've won three of their last four matches, which provided a nice bump to their 7-4 record this season. As for Garrett Morgan, their loss ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 5-4.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Holy Name will play host again and welcome Valley Forge, where tip off is scheduled for 12:30 p.m. on Saturday. Valley Forge is coming into the matchup on a four-game losing streak.
