D.H. Conley has gone a perfect 3-0 against Northern Nash recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Friday. The Vikings will head out on the road to challenge the Knights at 3:00 p.m. D.H. Conley will be looking to extend their current 14-game winning streak.
D.H. Conley is coming in fresh off a high-stakes matchup with another one of North Carolina's top teams: J.H. Rose, who was ranked 11th at the time (D.H. Conley was ranked first). The Vikings put the hurt on the Rampants with a sharp 10-0 victory on Wednesday. Considering the Vikings have won eight contests by more than nine runs this season, Wednesday's blowout was nothing new.

Tucker Anderson tossed a big game, not allowing a single earned run while striking out nine over five innings pitched. He has been consistent: he hasn't tossed less than six strikeouts in five consecutive appearances.
At the plate, Ethan Stewart was incredible, going 1-for-3 with one home run, three RBI, and two runs. Another player making a difference was Nolan Winfield, who went a perfect 3-for-3 with two runs and one stolen base.
Meanwhile, Northern Nash came up short against Rocky Mount on Thursday and fell 7-3.
Tristan Murray was cooking despite his team's loss, getting on base in three of his four plate appearances with one stolen base and one run.
D.H. Conley pushed their record up to 16-1 with the win, which was their eighth straight on the road. Those road victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.1 runs on average over those games. As for Northern Nash, their loss dropped their record down to 7-7.
The pitchers for both teams better look sharp on Friday as neither team is afraid to steal. D.H. Conley has been swiping bases left and right this season, having averaged 3.6 stolen bases per game. However, it's not like Northern Nash struggles in that department as they've been averaging 2.8 stolen bases. The only question left is which team can snag more.
D.H. Conley skirted past Northern Nash 3-2 in their previous meeting back in April of 2016. The rematch might be a little tougher for the Vikings since the squad won't have the home-field advantage this time around. We'll see if the change in venue makes a difference.
