Edmond Santa Fe hasn't had much luck against Owasso recently, but that could start to change on Friday. The Wolves will be playing in front of their home fans against the Rams at 7:00 p.m. Expect the scorekeeper to be kept busy: if their previous games are any indication, these teams will really light up the scoreboard.
As a matter of fact, Edmond Santa Fe put up the most points they have all season on Thursday. Everything went their way against Westmoore as they made off with a 41-20 win. The victory continues a trend for the Wolves in their matchups with the Jaguars: they've now won seven in a row.

Edmond Santa Fe didn't go easy on the quarterback and picked off four passes before the game was over. Devontae Sartin led the group effort, picking up two of those interceptions all by himself. Khiryn Hardwick has been hot recently, having also posted eight or more total tackles the last four times he's played. Another thorn in Westmoore's side was Jaelin Battle, who picked up 5.5 sacks, made eight total tackles (7.0 for loss), and defended one pass.
Meanwhile, Owasso faced Edmond Memorial in a battle between two of the state's top teams on Thursday. The Rams walked away with a 31-21 win over the Bulldogs. The score was all tied up 14-14 at the break, but the Rams were the (much) better team in the second half.
Edmond Santa Fe better keep an eye on Jayden Hall. He was instrumental in Owasso's win, rushing for 163 yards and a pair of scores while picking up 8.2 yards per carry. The team also got some help courtesy of Drew Frankenfield, who rushed for 35 yards and one TD.
Owasso's run defense was locked in: Edmond Memorial could only muster 0.9 yards per carry. The team can thank Carter Langenderfer for the heroic effort on defense: he. Owasso didn't have any issues in that department, having averaged 7.4.
Owasso's defense didn't let Dawson Beaulieu, get away unscathed either: they got into the backfield for three sacks. The team can thank three different players for their defensive prowess: Chris Zaferes, Kam Miller, and Myzel Mackson, who each picked up one sack apiece. AJ Roberts Jr was another major factor on D, making nine total tackles and snagged an interception which he returned for a touchdown.
Owasso's victory bumped their record up to 5-2. As for Edmond Santa Fe, their win (their first of the season) made their record 1-6.
Edmond Santa Fe came up short against Owasso when the teams last played back in October of 2024, falling 31-27. A big factor in that loss was the dominant performance of Hall, who rushed for 136 yards and three touchdowns. Now that the Wolves know the damage he can cause, will they be able to stop him this time? There's only one way to find out.
