Touchet are packing up and heading on the road for the first time this season. They face off against Sunnyside Christian on Thursday at Granger High School at 7:00 PM. If you head out to watch the game, expect to stay the whole 48 minutes: the MaxPreps national rankings predict a close match.
Touchet ended up forfeiting their game against Pomeroy 0-2 last Friday. This makes it the second loss in a row for Touchet.
Meanwhile, if Sunnyside Christian were riding high off their 64-34 takedown of Colton two weeks ago, that ride came to an abrupt end. Sunnyside Christian fell to Garfield-Palouse 20-30.
Given their recent losses, both teams have a little extra motivation heading into this weekend. We'll see if Touchet are able to find more success (and make for a more exciting contest than their last) when the teams meet up.
