Houston Homeschool Athletics has not had much luck with Lutheran North recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
Lutheran North's success was the result of a balanced attack that saw several players step up, but Sion Cleveland led the charge by scoring 21 points along with 8 assists and 5 rebounds. The match was Cleveland's tenth in a row with at least ten points. Another player making a difference was Terrell Woods, who scored 17 points along with 9 rebounds and 5 assists.
Houston Homeschool Athletics now has a losing record at 1-2. As for Lutheran North, the victory makes it two in a row for them and bumps their season record up to 9-3.
Houston Homeschool Athletics will get a bit of extra time to process the loss as their next game is a ways off. They'll take on Legacy Prep Christian Academy at 2:30 p.m. on December 19th. As for Lutheran North, their homestand continues as they prepare to take on Empowering Others Prep at 8:00 p.m. on December 8th. Empowering Others Prep knows how to get points on the board -- the team has finished with flashy point totals in its past four contests -- so hopefully Lutheran North likes a good challenge.
