The Rogers Rams will head out on the road to face off against the Camas Papermakers at 6:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Rogers is no doubt hoping to put an end to a four-game streak of away losses.
It may have taken overtime to finish the job, but Rogers ultimately got the result they hoped for on Saturday. They came out on top against Kentridge by a score of 82-75. Having run the score up that high, both teams probably have some extra defensive drills coming up.
Rogers' win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Amanna Anusiem, who scored 20 points along with two steals. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Anusiem has scored all season. Dylan Gilderhus was another key contributor, scoring 17 points along with two steals.
Meanwhile, it was a hard-fought game, but Camas had to settle for a 49-46 defeat against Olympia on Saturday.
Rogers' victory bumped their record up to 12-13. As for Camas, their loss dropped their record down to 14-9.
