The Summit Christian Academy Eagles suffered their biggest loss since December 15, 2023 on Friday. They took a serious blow against Hampton Roads Academy, falling 70-35. Summit Christian Academy has not had much luck with Hampton Roads Academy recently, as the team's come up short the last six times they've met.
Summit Christian Academy lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Chase Miller, who scored ten points. The team also got some help courtesy of Courtland Reiter, who scored six points along with five rebounds and two blocks.
Summit Christian Academy's loss was their 12th straight on the road dating back to last season, which dropped their record down to 6-16. As for Hampton Roads Academy, their win bumped their record up to 8-5.
Both squads are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Summit Christian Academy will take on Veritas Collegiate Academy at 7:00 p.m. on Monday. One thing working in Veritas Collegiate Academy's favor is that they have posted big point totals every time they've taken the court this season. As for Hampton Roads Academy, they the luxury of staying home another game and will welcome Nansemond-Suffolk Academy at 7:00 p.m. on January 30th.
