The biggest upset of the week belonged to Manteno, who took down 157th ranked Coal City, 22-21.
Brandon Wenzel and Andrew Marganski provided fans with a highlight when they connected against Herscher. The connection went for 62 yards, the longest such play in Interstate Eight - Large this season.
Wenzel and Jake Rapson gave Peotone a balanced attack in passing and rushing last week. Wenzel threw for 125 yards and 2 touchdowns, while Rapson ran for 203 yards. Teammate Joey Janutis added to the ground attack by rushing for 82 yards.

Wenzel put up the best numbers in passing as Peotone beat the Tigers. Wenzel's favorite target this week was Marganski, who caught 2 passes for 88 yards.
Rapson was a passing and rushing force as Jason Spang's team beat Herscher.
Collin Glas was the best receiver in the league this week as Dan Wetzel's team lost to the Blue Devils. Glas tallied 3 receptions for 107 yards. Chris Offerman helped Herscher's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 45 yards.
Rapson was the best running back in the league this week.
The Tigers' Brendan Powell and Glas have formed a dream team this season, leading Interstate Eight - Large in both passing and receiving yards. 5-10 quarterback Powell has thrown for 387 yards this season, while Glas has 8 catches for 147 yards. Peotone's Rapson leads the league in rushing yards with 367.
The Panthers are in first place, while Sandwich is in fourth place.
The Indians were the team that made the biggest jump in the rankings, moving from sixth to fourth in the league. Earlier in the week, Sandwich triumphed over Plano 24-20.
