Jordan-Elbridge can now show off six landslide victories after their most recent match on Tuesday. They took their match at home with ease, bagging a 69-42 win over Cazenovia. Given Jordan-Elbridge's advantage in MaxPreps' New York basketball rankings (they are ranked 259th, while the Lakers are ranked 547th), the result wasn't entirely unexpected.
Abbie Ahern was her usual excellent self, dropping a double-double on 25 points and 23 rebounds. She is on a roll when it comes to rebounds, as she's now pulled down nine or more in the last ten games she's played. Another player making a difference was Ava Hildebrant, who scored 19 points along with eight rebounds and four steals.
Meanwhile, Syracuse Academy of Science took a serious blow against the Cobras back in January, falling 89-47. Syracuse Academy of Science was in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at 52-25.
Jordan-Elbridge has been performing well recently as they've won seven of their last nine matches, which provided a nice bump to their 11-5 record this season. As for Syracuse Academy of Science, their loss dropped their record down to 1-1.
