Riya Tobosa and Momoyo Iwata were among the main playmakers for Crosspoint as the former dropped a double-double on ten points and 13 rebounds and the latter scored six points along with seven steals and five assists. Tobosa continues to roll, besting her previous point total in each of the last three games she's played. Another player making a difference was Katy Kuske, who scored six points along with four steals.
Meanwhile, Rainier Christian scored the most points they've had all season to find success on Saturday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Concordia Christian Academy 56-11 on the road. For those curious, yes, that was the biggest victory Rainier Christian has managed all season.
Rainier Christian's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Gracie Cushman, who scored 14 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points Cushman has scored all season. Molly Ramey was another key contributor, scoring ten points.
Crosspoint is on a roll lately: they've won 11 of their last 12 matchups, which provided a nice bump to their 14-2 record this season. As for Rainier Christian, their victory bumped their record up to 5-3.
This contest is shaping up to be a blowout: Crosspoint hasn't had any problem running up the score this season, having only averaged 58.6 points per game. It's a different story for Rainier Christian, though, as they've been averaging only 31.9 points per game. The only thing between Crosspoint and another offensive beatdown is Rainier Christian. Will they be able to keep them contained?
