The Huron Chiefs had lost two consecutive heartbreakers to the Flat Rock Rams, and they left with a heavy heart again on Friday. Huron was just a bucket shy of a victory and fell 52-51 to Flat Rock. This makes it the second loss in a row for the Chiefs.
Huron's overall record fell to 9-8. The win -- their seventh in a row -- raised Flat Rock's record to 13-5.
Huron will be hunkering down at home again for their contest against St. Mary Catholic Central next week. St. Mary Catholic Central also suffered a recent defeat, falling 43-26 to Airport on Friday. As for Flat Rock, they will go up against Milan next week. The Rams have the odds in their favor, so they'll need to guard against complacency.
