The Harvest Christian Academy Lions will challenge Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family at 6:45 p.m. on Wednesday. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Last Saturday, Harvest Christian Academy blew past Alden-Hebron, posting a 60-28 win. The victory made it back-to-back wins for the Lions.

Harvest Christian Academy had a senior duo take command as Daphne Brown went 9 for 14 on her way to 22 points along with six assists and six boards and Ellie Semerau dropped a double-double on 12 points and ten assists. What's more, Brown also racked up two blocks, the most she's had since back in December of 2023. Another player making a difference was Sophia Johnson, who posted six points.
Meanwhile, you can't lose the game if you win every quarter, and that was precisely Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family's strategy against Walther Christian Academy on Saturday. Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family blew past Walther Christian Academy 56-33. The matchup was pretty much decided by the half, when the score had already reached 35-14.
Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family found their leader in sophomore Maya Krutul, who almost dropped a triple-double on 25 points, 17 rebounds, and nine steals. That makes it four consecutive games in which Krutul has scored at least a third of Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Elizabeth Beto, who dropped a triple-double on 14 points, 15 boards, and ten steals.
Harvest Christian Academy has been performing incredibly well recently as they've won six of their last seven games, which provided a nice bump to their 12-6 record this season. The wins came thanks to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 60.6 points per game. As for Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family, their victory bumped their record up to 9-2.
Rebounding is likely to be a big factor in this contest: Harvest Christian Academy has been crashing the rebounds this season, having averaged 29.5 boards per game. However, it's not like Chesterton Academy of the Holy Family struggles in that department as they've been averaging 42.3 rebounds.
