It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Brunswick had no problem doing just that on Friday. They breezed past the Winder-Barrow Bulldoggs to the tune of 78-30. Considering the Pirates have won eight contests by more than 24 points this season, Friday's blowout was nothing new.
Brunswick got their win on the backs of several key players, but it was Grant Moore out in front who threw for 363 yards and five touchdowns while completing 75% of his passes, and also rushed for 54 yards on only six carries. That's the most passing touchdowns Moore has posted since back in August. Another rusher making a difference was Josiah Gibbons, who rushed for 123 yards and three scores on only ten carries.
