Neuse Christian Academy lost against St. Thomas More Academy on January 7th and unfortunately they wound up with the same result  on Friday. The Neuse Christian Academy Lions came up short against  the St. Thomas More Academy Chancellors, falling  42-20.

 Several Lions players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was   Kimani Frazier, who  posted four points and seven  boards. The dominant performance also gave  Frazier a new career-high in  blocks (two).  Lyla Lindstrom was another key player,  putting up four  points in addition to five  rebounds and five  blocks.
 Multiple players turned in solid performances to lead St. Thomas More Academy to victory, but perhaps none more so than   LIlian Marquardt, who  put up 11 points along with seven  boards and six  steals. Marquardt has been hot for a while, having  posted two or more  steals the last 15 times she's  played. The team also got some help courtesy of  Winnie Dehring, who  had 12  points in addition to six  rebounds and four  steals.
Neuse Christian Academy's loss dropped their record down to 8-8. As for St. Thomas More Academy, they have  been performing  well recently as they've  won six of their last eight matchups,  which provided a nice bump to their 10-11 record  this season.
 Neuse Christian Academy will take on Hilltop Christian at 5:30  p.m.  on Monday. Neuse Christian Academy is facing Hilltop Christian at the right time seeing as Hilltop Christian is stuck on  a  three-game losing streak. As for St. Thomas More Academy, they will venture away from home to  face off against Thales Academy Rolesville  at 5:30  p.m.  on Tuesday.
