She has been consistent for a while: she hasn't tossed less than five strikeouts in 11 consecutive appearances. She was also solid in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one RBI.
In other batting news, Darelyn Maldonado was incredible, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. That's the most RBI she has posted since back in April of 2024. Another player making a difference was Kylie Robert, who got on base in all three of her plate appearances with two runs.
Davies Career & Tech always had someone on base and finished the game having posted an OBP of .800. That's the best OBP they've posted all season.
Davies Career & Tech's win was their fourth straight at home, which pushed their record up to 9-4. Those home victories came thanks in part to their pitching effort, having only surrendered 1.8 runs on average over those games. As for Exeter-West Greenwich, their defeat dropped their record down to 5-8.
