It can be hard to translate regular season success to the playoffs, but Hanover Central had no problem doing just that on Saturday. They strolled past the River Forest Ingots with points to spare, taking the game 67-50. The Wildcats haven't had any issues with the Ingots recently, as the game was their eighth consecutive victory against them.

Several Ingots players turned in solid performances despite ultimately coming up short. Perhaps the best among those players was Jaden Walker, who shot 63% from the field to rack up 12 points. Those 12 points gave Walker a new career-high. Levi Harper was another key player, going 5-for-10 on his way to 13 points.

Hanover Central's win bumped their record up to 15-12. As for River Forest, with the defeat, they broke their five-game winning streak and moved their record to 17-7.

Looking ahead, a feisty cat fight will be fought as Hanover Central Wildcats duke it out with East Chicago Central Cardinals at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday. Hanover Central will need to watch out since East Chicago Central has now posted at least 55 points in their last six games. River Forest does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
