The Diller-Odell Griffin have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won four matches by 23 points or more this season. They claimed a resounding 59-15 victory over Lewiston on the road. That 59-15 margin sets a new team best for Diller-Odell this season.
Leading Diller-Odell to victory were Myleigh Weers and Aidan Mckinney. Weers scored 11 points, while Mckinney scored 13 points. Those 13 points set a new season-high mark for her. Kenzie Strein was another key contributor, scoring seven points.
Diller-Odell's win bumped their record up to 5-1. As for Lewiston, they still haven't won a game yet this season and fell to 0-6.
Diller-Odell will be home for the holidays to greet Fairbury at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Hopefully Fairbury focused on turnovers this week since the team gave up 26 on Tuesday. As for Lewiston, they will head out on the road to face off against Parkview Christian on Monday. Parkview Christian will be looking to keep their three-game home win streak alive.
