The Valley Patriots entered their tilt with the Hermleigh Cardinals with 15 consecutive wins but they'll enter their next game with 16. Valley came out on top against Hermleigh by a score of 54-43 on Saturday. With that win, Valley brought their scoring average up to 50.1 points per game.
Trinity Schlueter was her usual excellent self, scoring 22 points along with seven rebounds and three blocks. That makes it four consecutive games in which she has scored at least 25% of Valley's points. The team also got some help courtesy of Reese Cruse, who scored 13 points.
Valley's victory bumped their record up to 16-2. As for Hermleigh, they are on a four-game losing streak that has dropped them down to 8-5.
Valley is on the road again on Tuesday and play against Klondike at 6:00 p.m. on December 12th. Klondike's defense has only allowed 25.2 points per game this season, so Valley's offense will have their work cut out for Valley. As for Hermleigh, they will be playing in front of their home fans against Clarendon at 2:45 p.m. on Saturday. Clarendon is coming into the contest hot, having won their last eight games.
