Volleyball Recap: Kossuth's Winning Streak Snapped at Five Games

It was a good run, but Kossuth unfortunately witnessed the end of their five-game winning streak on Saturday. They fell just short of the Tishomingo County Braves by a score of 2-1. The Aggies were not able to repeat the success they had when they faced the Braves earlier this season, when they won 3-2.

Dallyn Haupt paced Kossuth's offense, picking up 14 kills. Haupt got some help from Brenyn Wilbanks and her 30 assists. Chloe Clement controlled things from the service line, finishing with three aces.

Kossuth's defeat dropped their record down to 7-2-2. As for Tishomingo County, their victory bumped their record up to 2-5.

Kossuth has already played their next game, a 2-0 loss against Alcorn Central on the 16th. Tishomingo County has also already played their next match (against Pine Grove), but no score has been uploaded at the time of writing.
