Last Wednesday, Edison Private was beaten by Miami Christian 83-36. While losing is never fun, Edison Private can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Florida basketball rankings (they are ranked 809th, while Miami Christian is ranked 240th).
Meanwhile, Greater Miami Academy suffered a tough 50-30 defeat at the hands of Jewish Culture on Wednesday.
Edison Private bumped their record down to 0-5 with that defeat, which was their ninth straight on the road dating back to last season. As for Greater Miami Academy, their loss dropped their record down to 2-1.
