Lapwai won the last time they faced Kamiah and things went their way on Thursday too. The Lapwai Wildcats were the clear victor by a 62-40 margin over the Kamiah Kubs. The Wildcats have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won 15 matches by 21 points or more this season.

Lapwai's win was a true team effort, with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Skylin Picard, who shot 4-for-6 from beyond the arc and dropped a double-double with 17 points and ten boards. The dominant performance also gave Picard a new career-high in field goal percentage (63%). Another player making a difference was Amasone George, who went 6-for-10 en route to 13 points along with three steals and three blocks.

Kamiah's defeat came despite a true team effort with many players turning in solid performances. Perhaps the best among them was Emma Krogh, who posted 18 points. That was a full 45% of Kamiah's points, marking the 11th time in a row she's put up more than a third of the team's points. Kelsee Hunt was another key player, putting up 12 points.

Lapwai is on a roll lately: they've won eight of their last nine contests, which provided a nice bump to their 20-4 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their offensive performance across that stretch, as they averaged 64.0 points over those games. As for Kamiah, their loss dropped their record down to 19-6.

As of now, neither Lapwai nor Kamiah have any future games scheduled.
