Century added to the longest winning streak in Orange this week by beating Marquez, 41-7. This was the team's fifth consecutive win.
Katella took down Santa Ana 49-6 last week, the largest margin of any game.
Anaheim's offense was tough to stop this week, as it produced the league's top passer, rusher and receiver. Hayden Guidry threw for 140 and 1 touchdown and Golliath Gaddy had 58 yards receiving. On the ground Jonathan Diaz contributed 141 yards. Manny covarrubias helped Anaheim's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 34 yards.
Diaz provided a threat through the air and on the ground as the Colonists lost to Rancho Alamitos. Diaz's key target this week was Gaddy, who caught 4 passes for 58 yards.
Gaddy was the best wideout in the league this week as Anaheim lost to the Vaqueros. Covarrubias helped Anaheim's passing attack out by catching 4 balls for 34 yards.
Anaheim's offense has been unstoppable this season and the Colonists feature the season leaders in passing, rushing and receiving yards. Guidry has thrown for 462 yards and 6 touchdowns this season, while Gaddy has 16 catches for 213 yards.
The Knights are currently in second, while Santa Ana Valley is in third.
Century made the biggest leap in the national rankings this week, rising to 11,835 from 12,206. The improvement was the result of a 41-7 victory over the Gladiators last week.
