The home team had won the previous five meetings between Union Hill and Leverett's Chapel, and Union Hill kept the tradition alive. The Bulldogs put the hurt on the Lions with a sharp 11-1 win on Monday. The result was nothing new for the Bulldogs, who have now won nine contests by six runs or more so far this season.

Union Hill has been performing well recently as they've won eight of their last ten games. That's provided a nice bump to their 11-5-1 record this season. Those victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.1 runs over those games. As for Leverett's Chapel, the defeat snapped their winning streak at four games and leaves them with a 5-6-1 record.

Coincidentally, Union Hill and Leverett's Chapel will both be playing Miller Grove the next time they take the field. The Bulldogs will head out to face the Hornets at 4:30 p.m. on Tuesday, while the Lions will host them at 7:00 p.m. on Friday.
