 In other batting news,  Seth Torres was  incredible,  going a perfect 6-for-6 with one  home run, three  stolen bases,  and six  RBI.  Brady Antonio was another key player,  scoring six  runs and  stealing four bases while  getting on base  in five of his six plate appearances.
 Miyamura  always had someone on base and  finished the game having  posted an OBP of .648. The last time their  OBP was this high was  back in February of 2024.
 Meanwhile, Highland was not able to break out of their rough patch  on Thursday as the team picked up their fourth straight  defeat  dating back to last season. They came up short against  Manzano, falling  24-8.
 Miyamura's record now sits at 2-0. As for Highland, their loss dropped their record down to 0-3.
