When it comes to explaining why Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer lost, one person who can't be blamed is Brogan Dunlap. Despite the final result, he scored 27 points along with six steals. Dunlap scored a full 64.3% of Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's points, the fifth time in a row he's earned more than a third of the team's points.
Raymond Central found their leader in underclassman Tavion Johnson, who scored 24 points along with five rebounds and three steals. That's the first time this season that Johnson scored 15 or more points. Ben Kliment was another key contributor, scoring 11 points along with six rebounds.
Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer's loss dropped their record down to 1-9. As for Raymond Central, their victory bumped their record up to an identical 1-9.
Both teams are looking forward to the support of their home crowds in their upcoming games. Humboldt-Table Rock-Steinauer will take on Sterling at 8:00 p.m. on Friday. Raymond Central and Arlington will face off on January 5th without much rest after finishing up games yesterday.
