Angelo Renda's Big Game Leads Southlake Carroll over Northwest
Angelo Renda's big game helped extend Southlake Carroll's winning streak to eight on Thursday. Northwest had no answer to Renda as he threw for 239 yards and three touchdowns on only 15 passes, and also rushed for 63 yards and a touchdown. That's the most rushing yards Renda has posted since back in November of 2023.

Davis Penn was instrumental in extending Southlake Carroll's winning streak to eight on Thursday. Penn was dynamite, rushing for 107 yards and two touchdowns. His rushing production has been exceptional recently as that marked his third straight game with at least 107 rushing yards dating back to last season.
For the year, Penn has run in 12 touchdowns while averaging 84 rushing yards per game.
