Abington gave their fans exactly what they wanted out of a home opener on Friday. They took their matchup against Chicopee by a conclusive 45-12 score. Abington were heavily favored coming into this contest, and the results showcase why. This was the first game for both teams, giving Abington a 1-0 record and starting Chicopee off at 0-1.
Next week Abington take on Rockland at 7:00 PM. Chicopee will be staying on the road, facing off against Holyoke.
