While Providence School's victory against University Christian wasn't quite the blowout it was the last time the pair played, they still came out on top. The Providence School Stallions came out on top in a nail-biter against the University Christian Christians on Thursday, sneaking past 3-1. The Stallions haven't had any issues with the Christians recently, as the game was their sixth consecutive win against them.

Luke Manderson was excellent, going 2-for-4 with two triples.

Providence School's victory bumped their record up to 8-2. As for University Christian, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 6-4.

Coming up, Providence School will square off against Wolfson at 6:30 p.m. on Friday. Providence School's pitching crew has only allowed 3.3 runs per game this season, so Wolfson's hitters will have their work cut out for them. As for University Christian, they will take on Union County at 7:00 p.m. on Friday. The last three games Union County has played have been within two runs, so don't be surprised if it's a close one.
