The Hamilton Wildcats can finally bid farewell to their three-game losing streak thanks to their game on Friday. They simply couldn't be stopped as they easily beat Kirby 53-21 on the road. That result was just more of the same for these two, as Hamilton also won the last time the pair played last Wednesday.
Leading Hamilton to victory were Jamyah Minnis and Amare Boothe. Minnis dropped a triple-double on 12 points, ten rebounds, and ten steals, while Boothe scored 30 points along with five rebounds and five steals. That makes it 18 consecutive games in which Boothe has scored at least a third of Hamilton's points.
Hamilton's victory bumped their record up to 6-14. As for Kirby, their loss was their fourth straight at home, which dropped their record down to 2-17.
Hamilton will head out on the road to challenge Melrose at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Melrose will roll in looking for their fourth straight victory, something Hamilton surely won't give up without a fight. Kirby does not have any more games scheduled as of now.
