Rich Township is 0-10 against Kankakee since April of 2021 but things could change on Tuesday. The Raptors will look to defend their home field against the Kays at 4:30 p.m. Both squads will be entering this one on the heels of a big victory.
Kankakee will be up against a hot Rich Township squad: the team just extended their winning streak to three. The Raptors put the hurt on Thornridge with a sharp 19-1 victory on Thursday.

Lillian Skelly was a major factor no matter where she played. On the mound, she kept things locked down with no earned runs or hits over four innings pitched. What's more, she posted five strikeouts, the most she's had over her last four contests. She was also stellar in the batter's box, getting on base in all three of her plate appearances with one home run, three RBI, and two runs.
In other batting news, Ezri Adami was incredible, going a perfect 3-for-3 with three runs, one stolen base, and two RBI. She is on a roll when it comes to stolen bases, as she's now snagged at least one in each of the last three games she's played. Naairah Ali was another key player, going a perfect 2-for-2 with two runs, one stolen base, and one double.
Meanwhile, Kankakee never let their opponents score on Thursday. They blew past Thornwood 18-0. The win made it back-to-back victories for the Kays.
Like Rich Township, Kankakee also got a great game from a two-way player: Kylie Glogowski. She didn't allow a single earned run while striking out seven over four innings pitched. Glogowski was also big at the plate, going 2-for-4 with three runs, one double, and one RBI.
In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Annika Van Heemst, who went 2-for-3 with three RBI, two runs, and one double. Another player making a difference was Lillian Landis, who went 1-for-2 with three RBI, two runs, and one double.
Kankakee hit smart and finished the game with only one strikeout. They are a perfect 3-0 when they post two or more strikeouts.
Rich Township's win bumped their record up to 5-9. As for Kankakee, the victory got them back to even at 7-7.
