Keystone has gone a perfect 10-0 against Clearview recently and they'll look to pad the win column further on Monday. The Wildcats will be playing in front of their home fans against the Clippers at 5:00 p.m. The teams are on pretty different trajectories at the moment (Keystone has ten straight wins, Clearview has three straight losses), but none of that matters once you're on the field.
On Wednesday, Keystone was able to grind out a solid victory over Firelands, taking the game 8-3.
Brooklyn Modock was a major factor while hitting and pitching. She looked comfortable on the mound, striking out eight batters over seven innings while giving up just one earned (and two unearned) runs off four hits (and not a single walk). Modock was also big at the plate, going 1-for-4 with three runs.

In other batting news, the team relied heavily on Jordan Owca, who went 3-for-4 with one home run, two stolen bases, and two runs. She has been hot, having posted at least one stolen base the last six times she's played. Another player making a difference was Bristol Foster, who went a perfect 4-for-4 with one stolen base and one run.
Keystone kept the outfield on their toes and finished the game with 12 hits. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now got at least ten hits in ten consecutive contests.
Meanwhile, Clearview came up short against Black River on Thursday, falling 15-1.
Clearview saw three different players step up and record at least one hit. One of them was Amor' Ruiz, who went 1-for-2 with one double and one RBI.
Keystone pushed their record up to 11-5 with the win, which was their sixth straight at home. The home victories came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 12.7 runs over those games. As for Clearview, their defeat dropped their record down to 3-14.
Clearview's pitching crew has a crucial task ahead of them: Keystone has been making plenty of contact this season, having averaged 10.1 hits per game. It's a different story for Clearview, though, as they've been averaging 8.9 hits. Given Keystone's sizable advantage in that area, the Clippers will need to find a way to close that gap.
Keystone took their win against Clearview when the teams last played back in April by a conclusive 20-0 score. Will the Wildcats repeat their success, or do the Clippers have a new game plan this time around? We'll find out soon enough.
