Windward sophomore is an intriguing 2018 prospect.

MaxPreps first profiled Shareef O'Neal – son of legendary NBA center Shaquille O'Neal – in December of 2014 as a freshman at Windward (Los Angeles).

Shareef is a little taller now as a sophomore and as he is showing this week at the MaxPreps Holiday Classic that his game is developing.

Despite a disappointing 3-7 start to the season for Windward, O'Neal is establishing himself as an intriguing prospect in high school basketball's Class of 2018.

UCLA and USC have already extended offers to the 6-foot-8 forward.
