East Bernard is 9-1 against Boling since January of 2020, and they'll have a chance to extend that success on Friday. The East Bernard Brahmas will look to defend their home court against the Boling Bulldogs at 7:15 p.m. Given that the two teams suffered a loss in their last game, they both have a little extra motivation heading into this contest.
East Bernard suffered their biggest defeat since December 18, 2023 on Tuesday. They were dealt a 95-32 loss at the hands of Hitchcock. While losing is never fun, East Bernard can't take it too hard given the team's big disadvantage in MaxPreps' Texas basketball rankings (they are ranked 756th, while Hitchcock is ranked 117th).
The losing side was boosted by Ty Domel, who scored 17 points. As a matter of fact, that's the most points he has scored all season. The team also got some help courtesy of Joshua Guthman, who scored nine points.
Meanwhile, Boling came up short against Brazos on Tuesday and fell 52-41. Boling has now taken an 'L' in back-to-back games.
East Bernard's defeat dropped their record down to 13-7. As for Boling, their defeat ended a three-game streak of away wins and brought them to 10-11.
East Bernard was able to grind out a solid victory over Boling in their previous meeting on January 2nd, winning 44-35. Does East Bernard have another victory up their sleeve, or will Boling turn the tables on them? We'll have the answer soon enough.
