After flying high against the Montwood Rams last Tuesday, the Pebble Hills Spartans came back down to earth. Pebble Hills fell just short of Franklin by a score of 2-1.

Franklin's lineup was just a bit different on Friday as ROCIO NORDQUIST got a bit more time on the pitch (80 vs. her season average of 53.08). NORDQUIST made the most of the opportunity, putting up an assist. A few more games like that and she might be seeing even more time going forward.
Pebble Hills' defeat dropped their record down to 3-7-3. As for Franklin, they are on a roll lately: they've won three of their last four matchups, which provided a massive bump to their 6-6-1 record this season.
Pebble Hills will be playing in front of their home fans against Eastlake at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday. Pebble Hills is on a three-game streak of home wins, Eastlake a three-game streak of away wins -- so someone will have to leave a streak behind on the pitch. As for Franklin, they will head out on the road to challenge Eastwood at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday.
