Crawfordsville had lost three straight on the road, but  on Friday they dropped down to 2-4 to make it four. They took a  blow against the Cascade Cadets, falling  55-3. The Athenians were in a tough position after the first half, with the score already sitting at  41-0.
 Mason McCarty threw for 38 yards  on six of 14 attempts.  On the ground,  Daniel Surface rushed for 61 yards.
As for Cascade, the  win keeps them at an undefeated 6-0. The result was nothing new for the Cadets, who have now won five matchups by 36  points or more  so far this season.
 Cascade got their  victory on the backs of several key players, but it was  Brady Trebley out in front who threw for 326 yards and four  touchdowns while completing 82.4% of his passes. That's the most  passing yards  Trebley has posted since back in October of 2024.  Lucas Farmer handled things on the ground, rushing for 85 yards and a  rushing touchdown.
