A Season-Best Effort from Konley Cova Leads Wheatland over Mira Loma
Konley Cova produced his most outstanding game to date while leading Wheatland to the win on Friday. Ogles was unstoppable, throwing for 226 yards and two touchdowns on only 16 passes, while also rushing for 84 yards and a touchdown on only six carries. His longest rush was for an impressive 50 yards, which helps to explain his lofty yards per carry total.
Oakmont pushed their record up to 5-2 with the victory, which was their fourth straight at home. Ogles and Oakmont will head out to face off against Mira Loma at 7:15 p.m. on Friday.
