Longview won the last time they faced Mt. Pleasant and things went their way on Saturday too. The Longview Lobos took their match with ease, bagging a 62-31 win over the Mt. Pleasant Tigers. The Lobos have made a habit of sweeping their opponents off the court, having now won ten contests by 22 points or more this season.

Longview's win was the result of several impressive offensive performances. One of the most notable came from Bethany Baltes, who went 6 of 10 on her way to 18 points and five rebounds. The team also got some help courtesy of Maya Ward, who went 6 of 12 on her way to 13 points and six rebounds.

Longview smashed the offensive glass and finished the game with 16 offensive rebounds. That strong performance was nothing new for the team: they've now pulled down at least eight offensive boards in ten consecutive games.

Longview pushed their record up to 14-3 with the victory, which was their fifth straight on the road. As for Mt. Pleasant, their loss ended a three-game streak of wins at home and dropped them to 9-6.

Coincidentally, both will both be playing Pleasant Grove the next time they take the court. Longview will head out to face Pleasant Grove at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, while Mt. Pleasant will play them later in the day, at 9:00 a.m.
