The West Point Dragons have been a dominant force so far, but they're in the middle of a mini-slump at the moment. They took a 48-37 hit to the loss column at the hands of Valley Vista on Tuesday. West Point has not had much luck with Valley Vista recently, as the team's come up short the last three times they've met.
West Point lost despite a true team effort on the offense, the best among them being Edgar Hardwick, who scored 15 points along with eight rebounds and three steals. Samuel Kalikilwa was another key contributor, scoring eight points along with five rebounds and four steals.
West Point's loss was their third straight on the road, which dropped their record down to 17-8. As for Valley Vista, the victory was the fourth in a row for them, bringing their record for this year to 10-15.
West Point does not have any more games scheduled as of now. Valley Vista also has no future games currently scheduled.
