Winning is always nice, but doing so behind a season-high score is even better (just ask Northwest). Everything went their way against the Western Indians on Monday as they made off with a 28-3 victory. The win continues a trend for the Mohawks in their matchups with the Indians: they've now won four in a row.

Northwest's victory was their fourth straight on the road, which pushed their record up to 8-4. Those road wins came thanks in part to their hitting performance across that stretch, as they averaged 14.0 runs over those games. As for Western, they are on a 27-game losing streak (dating back to last season) that has dropped them down to 0-7.

We've got plenty of inter-conference action coming up soon. Northwest is set to square off against their familiar foe Oak Hill at 5:00 p.m. on Wednesday. Meanwhile, Western will take on rival South Gallia at 5:00 p.m. on Monday.
